A native Mac application for Yuzu, an education based product.
My aim was to design a simple User Interface that would allow students to easily purchase, organize and read books on Mac.
I was the lead UX designer.
This project was part of the suite of reader applications I worked on for Yuzu.
I looked at all the challenges and advantages Mac's native app could offer.
Comparing features we wanted and what mac apps generally used, I created a design that
brought together the best of brand Yuzu and Mac. In solving for this, I focused on the UI advantages Mac provides so that the product's existing functionalities could be taken a step further.
I care about strategic vision and obsess over details. I think about the why and marvel at the unknown.
Working on digital experiences since 2004, I provide all aspects of product and user experience design. I have worked for—Barnes and Noble, Apple, Yahoo!, MijnAlbum.
Currently, I am a lead designer in Juniper Networks.
I have been published in A List Apart and UX Booth. My favorite pastimes include walks in woods, diy projects and kathak.
